Dennise McIntosh teaches Junior KIndergarten at St. Patrick.She received her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Eastern Kentucky University and completed graduate courses at Indiana University Southeast. Dennise has over 25 years of experience teaching Preschool, Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten.

In her free time she enjoys nature and being outside, Bible Study, reading, swimming, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

I have been an educator in the Archdiocese of Louisville for 30 years, and excited to be entering my 7th year at St. Patrick! I attended the University of Louisville where I received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and earned a Masters of Education in Early Elementary Education. Myself, my husband David, and our daughters are proud alumni of Archdiocese of Louisville schools. A Catholic education is a lifelong investment of great value, both spiritually and academically. My favorite thing about St. Patrick is the dynamic between the parish and school community. There are numerous opportunities for students and families to grow in the faith and love of God.

I reside in Oldham County, where I was born and raised. I attended Immaculate Conception Catholic School and Oldham County High School. David attended Trinity and our daughters went to Saint Mary Academy, Assumption High School and Bellarmine University. As a family, we enjoy traveling, going to the movies, and spending time with Dolly, our Blue Heeler/Corgie rescue. In my free time, I enjoy reading, antiquing, and nature walks.

I have been at St. Patrick for 16 years, teaching for the past 4 years. I graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. After working as an Instructional Assistant for many years, I completed the Transition to Teaching program at Indiana University Southeast. I hold a Master's of Education from IUS. My family joined the Community of St, Patrick in 1998. We have been involved in many ministries over the years including MOMS, Welcome, Scouts (both girl and boy) and Women's Circle. My favorite thing about St. Patrick is the support from our parish and school families and the sense of community.

I was raised in Hardin County. I attended North Hardin High School and was a member of the award winning marching band. Both of my children attended St. Patrick Kindergarten through 8th grade. Emily graduated from Mercy and Jonathan graduated from Trinity. Our puppy, Opal, keeps me very busy in my free time. I also enjoy reading, walking, and watching Survivor.
